Making an unbeaten 91 off just 84 balls with seven boundaries anda six, Chawla’s innings was a fine foil to Rauf’s 102 (109 balls, 6 fours, 2sixes). The two shared a 177 run partnership for the fifth wicket and saw Delhithrough to 279.Against the Delhi bowling lineup, the J & K team had little chance ofoverhauling the total. Robin Singh Jr with 3/27 was the pick of the Delhibowlers even as J & K slumped to 187 all out. Sanjay Sharma made 37 in themiddle of the innings but there was no hope at all.
