Manchester United could consider signing AC Milan's star goalkeeper Maignan as the Serie A giants are struggling to reach an agreement with his representatives on a contract extension. Several top European clubs are chasing the Frenchman at the moment, with Bayern Munich being in pole position as they line up a long-term replacement for club legend Manuel Neuer.
However, there have been plenty of question marks over Onana's performances since his summer move to Old Trafford from Inter Milan, which may prompt United to go after the 28-year-old custodian and try to pip Bayern.
